Sangria Ingredient List :

The Best Sangria Recipe You'll Ever Taste

Summertime is the perfect time to enjoy a refreshing glass of sangria. Sangria is a Spanish drink that is typically made with red wine, fruit, and a sweetener. This recipe is my personal favorite and I think you'll agree that it's the best you'll ever taste!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bottle of red wine (I like to use a Spanish Rioja)
  • 1 cup of brandy or cognac
  • 1/2 cup of Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup of sugar (I like to use superfine sugar so it dissolves more easily)
  • 2 oranges, one thinly sliced and one quartered
  • 2 lemons, one thinly sliced and one quartered
  • 2 limes, one thinly sliced and one quartered
  • 1/2 liter of carbonated water or club soda (I like to use Topo Chico)
  • Ice
Directions: 1. In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine the red wine, brandy or cognac, Triple Sec or orange liqueur, and sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Add the oranges, lemons, and limes and stir gently.
3. Add enough ice to fill the pitcher or punch bowl.
4. Top off with carbonated water or club soda.
5. Serve over ice in glasses with some of the fruit from the sangria. Enjoy!
