An Honest 818 Tequila Review

An Honest 818 Tequila Review

I'll be honest with you, I'm not much of a 'straight' tequila drinker. It's not that I don't like the taste, I just never acquired a taste for it. But when a friend recommended 818 Tequila, I decided to give it a try. And you know what? I'm glad I did. Here's my honest review of 818 tequila!

Nose: When I first poured a glass of 818, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It's got a nice, mellow aroma with hints of citrus and lavender.

Taste: The taste is smooth and sweet with notes of honey and vanilla. There's a bit of a burn on the way down, but it's not too bad.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly clean for a tequila. I usually find that tequilas leave a bit of an aftertaste that I'm not a fan of, but 818 doesn't have that problem.

Overall, I'm really impressed with 818 tequila. It's smooth, mellow, and easy to drink. If you're looking for a good tequila to sip on, I would definitely recommend giving 818 a try.
Downside: Price is a little high! Can run 60-80 a bottle which is a little on the high end.. Because of that reason there can be better tequila's at this price point.
